Smudge Carter

Smudge was such an amazing cat filled with so much personality it constantly overflowed onto all around her. Whether she was throwing sass with her patented "Dainty Leg" or singing the song of her people in the bathroom during her ceremonious Potty Parties that she lovingly blessed us with on a daily basis. Smudge will always be remembered as a truly special cat that we were honored to shower with as much love as possible. A memorial garden will be planted in smudges honor, her ashes will be scattered in the space so she can be one with all the flowers that grow from the plot. We are truly grateful of entrusting Smudge to Mercadante Funeral Home. They made the experience as easy as I could have imagined despite losing such an important part of our life. Everyone at the funeral home was understanding, compassionate, and very caring.
