With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Zoe Jane, who graced our lives with her presence for 18 beautiful years. She was much more than a pet; she was a cherished member of our family, and her love and companionship shaped our lives in ways we can hardly express.

I’ll never forget the first moment I laid my eyes on her. It was the middle of winter and freezing. When it came time to take her, the man pulled down the sleeve of his jacket, where I could see my sweet girl curled up in a ball, keeping toasty warm in a jacket sleeve! She was then taken out of the sleeve and handed to me, where she fit in the palm of my hand. I knew in that moment that she was my soul-animal, and I her person. I loved her instantly. Zoe was my best friend, my sweetest companion, my tiny love, my baby, and my heart. She was the source of countless joyful memories that we created together over the years. Her playful spirit and unwavering loyalty brought immense joy to our lives, and the bond we shared was truly once a in a lifetime kind of love.

Though she was tiny, Zoe had an extraordinary ability to heal with her love, bringing comfort to our family in times of need. Whenever any of us felt down or troubled, all it took was one look at her sweet face to lift our spirits. Her gentle gaze seemed to understand our struggles, and just being near her brought an overwhelming sense of peace. When we picked her up and snuggled her closely, all our worries would just melt away as she nestled into our arms, radiating warmth and love.

We miss her love, her grace, her playful cheer, and the warmth of her presence. We miss the joyful “yips” that escaped her lips whenever she was excited to play, as those sweet sounds were music to our ears, reflecting her playful spirit and boundless energy. We equally miss the sound of her tiny little paws pitter pattering across the floor as she raced around the house, eager to explore or greet us. Her footsteps created a warm melody that filled our home with laughter and comfort. Now, in the quiet moments, we yearn for that familiar sound, a gentle reminder of the joy she brought into our lives. Her tiny paws left the biggest imprints on our hearts, and the love she shared will remain etched in our memories forever.

Zoe was not just a source of joy for our family; she was a beacon of love for everyone she met. We couldn’t even walk out of our front door without being approached by neighbors , strangers - anyone that laid eyes on her would stop us, drawn to her adorable charm, and their smiles alone were a testament to the happiness she spread. Her little face brought instant joy, and her playful spirit lit up our lives.

We are eternally grateful for the love Zoe gave us, and we hope we provided her with as much happiness as she bestowed upon us. The last 18 years have been filled with an abundance of love, laughter, joy, and countless cherished moments that we will remember forever.

Though she has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, her spirit will always remain with us. Wherever we go, whatever we do, she will always be with us, carried in our hearts, and embedded in to our souls.

Zozo, thank you for being the sweetest companion and for leaving paw prints on our hearts that only your tiny little feet could ever fill. You were truly the best girl, and your love will live on in our memories forever. Until we meet again, you will always be in our hearts, inseparable in spirit. Rest in the sweetest peace, our angel.
