Zoe Marie Vinson

Zoe (Marie) was a great pup from our very first moment! When I went to pick her out, she was in a pen with a shih tzu and it wasn’t even a contest who was coming home with me! She was up on her hind legs waving at me! I knew the first moment I was hooked! I forked over the cash and brought her home that day! She was 8 weeks old! Zoe continued waving at me when I came home until a couple of years ago, when her being an “old girl” started catching up! She was a fierce little girl her being a “shorty” jack russell, she really had no fear! ! I watched her take on a snake and was amazed at how skillful she was, she killed it and then ate it snake head to snake tail! One time we were walking along the SNETT and I had to drag her away, she barked and barked at a horse, not realizing that horse could’ve done her harm! Impressive wasn’t even an accurate descriptive word to use to describe Zoe! She would catch mice and squirrels and leave them as a thank you to us! She would take apart Oreos and eat the crème in the middle and then the cookies and there was the time when we lived on the lake,she went out into South Pond, doing the doggy paddle swimming after the ducks! I had to grab my kayak and go after her! Her best buddy was Roxie, our 13-year-old chihuahua! Being four years in age apart didn’t matter to them, they were best friends from the first moment! They got into a lot of mischief together, running off, exploring the world!! Playing together! Riding in the jeep together on our way to get ice cream or to the beach! They had a lot of fun together! Words can’t express what my ZoZo meant to me, she was loyal, always appreciative of the little scratches behind the ears, pup cups and car rides! She really got me through a lot during her lifetime! To say I only miss her is an understatement~truly a piece of my heart went with her yesterday! I will be forever grateful you chose me to be your (human) mommy! I love you my ZoZo! I will see you when I cross the bridge!! Xoxoxo
